For the second time in the past seven days I have gone lunchless out of pure disgust at the actions of my fellow students. On a regular lunch day when I buy lunch in the a la carte line, I arrive to find a line about 10 feet long outside of the door, which is a reasonable wait time. Sure enough, I watch as at least ten people procede past me and cut. These past Fridays, however, I find the line compacted around the door with people cramming inside and widening the line. Despite my best efforts to stay in the doorway and let the line in front clear out, more people shove me aside and cram the line wider than it was.
Unless the school can get more staff helping with the line,
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WIL STOP THESE STUDENTS WHO HAVE NO COMMON SENSE FROM CUTTING AND WIDENING THE LINE. THERE HAS GOT TO BE CROWD CONTROL.__________________________________________________

i sometimes think.. why is there no staff watching the line? but i just tell myself, they don't know how to be a gentleman.. or lady
Well, the wait is usually up till 12PM then there is practically no one
Usually Mrs. Strausbaugh does a great job of crowd control. I remember last year, she used to stand right at the door and Dr. Mirigan would guide people to the lines.
I wish I could see more of that this year...
but all of us always get our food on time with ample time to eat it. Which, I must commend the lunch staff for surviving this hectic time.
I heard that you can join Merit Club and get a lunch pass that lets you go all the way to the front! Unlimited times too.
And that's why I bring lunch. Maybe not in high school, but for now I'm still making my own. I haven't bought lunch once yet this year. :)
